In this print, Sidney depicts the Birriwa Tree and its leaves, which are good medicine. This tree is found throughout the Great Sandy Desert.

People break the leaves from it and put them in a billycan with a little bit of water. Slow to boil, the leaves release a honey type substance. Once boiled, the leaves are removed and people drink the remaining medicine, which is known to cure numerous ailments such as the flu or cold.

This particular remedy is drinking during the winter to ward off sickness and to keep people healthy.
